AN EVENING WITH JOE GIBBS
Banquet and Auction
Tuesday, October 14, 2008
Hyatt Regency Sarasota
6:00 p.m.
Joe Gibbs has a commitment to excellence that earned his success in the NFL most recently as head coach of the Washington Redskins for a second stint. He holds Super Bowl victories in 1983, 1988 and 1992. Gibbs also has 17 years as a NASCAR team owner. Due to Tony Stewart's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championships in 2002 and 2005, along with Bobby Labonte's title run in 2000, Joe Gibbs has three NASCAR championship rings to offset the three Super Bowl rings he earned as head coach for the Washington Redskins. Speed and competition, whether at the track or on the football field, are passions for Gibbs, so too is helping out those around him. Gibbs is the founder of Youth for Tomorrow, a faith-based residential facility in Bristow, VA, that provides 24/7 care for at-risk teens ages 11-18.
The Templeton Foundation is the Presenting Sponsor for this evening to remember with Joe Gibbs.
Proceeds from the event benefit Bethesda Outreach Ministries.
